Tonto Rim Sports Club Membership Information

The Tonto Rim Sports Club is located in the Payson, Arizona area with over 600 individual and family memberships located throughout Arizona and other U.S States. The Club produces a monthly newsletter and provides a number of invitational organized monthly competitions.

Regular Monthly Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Payson American Legion building, located at and all guests are welcome. Besides the normal meeting agenda, special presentations are included related to shooting, hunting, camping, loading and almost any subject of interest to firearm, archery sportsman.

Any citizen of the United States may become a member of the Club by completing a Membership Application, subscribing to the NRA Pledge, completing a signed Range Orientation form with a Range Safety Officer, and payment of annual dues.

THE NRA PLEDGE:

I certify that I am a citizen of good repute of the United States of America; that I am not a member of any organization or group having as its purpose or one of its purposes the overthrow by force and violence of the Government of the United States or any of its political subdivisions; that I have never been convicted of a crime of violence; and that, if admitted to membership, I will fulfill the obligations of good sportsmanship and good citizenship.

Membership Application

To submit your membership, you will need to complete the Membership Application and the Range Orientation form below. The Range Orientation must be completed by one of the Tonto Rim Sports Club Range Safety Officers. Range Safety Officers are available every Saturday (weather permitting) at the Jim Jones Shooting Range From 9AM to 5PM. The membership fee is $50.00 per year, January 1, to December 31st, no prorating is provided.

 Range regulations:

The Jim Jones Shooting range Complex is open 7 days  a week and 24 hours a day for members and their  accompanied quests. Saturdays, the covered general purpose range is open to the public from 9am to 5pm  with a trained Range Safety Officer on duty. All other shooting areas are open to members only.
