The Jim Jones Shooting Range offers ten shooting disciplines to enhance marksmanship and create a great sense of community inside the range. Check the Calendar for Discipline Events.
Shooting Disciplines are open to Non Members the day of the event. Come down and see whats happening. Always bring eye and ear protection.
No matter your age, sex, skill level, or desired type of skill the Jim Jones Shooting Range can offer a discipline perfect for you.

Where Education Leads To Marksmanship.
Shooting Disciplines

Shooters gather every 1st and 2nd Saturday of the month. The USPSA is a national governing body of practical shooting in the United States.

The Practical Thursday discipline meets every Thursday at the Pistol Bays. Come practice to enhance accuracy, power, and speed.

Rimfire fun shoot is a monthly club shoot every 4th Sunday intended to have a fun day with reactive steel targets. For 22 rifles and pistols.

The DOB group is a social shooting group consisting of our Elder shooters and meet every Tuesday. Currently this activity is suspended till accommodating facilities resume availability.

The Basic Practical Tactical is held the 3rd Sunday of every month. No timers make this discipline a great opportunity to work on your marksmanship.

The High Power discipline meets the 1st Sunday of every month on the 200 & 300 Yard Range.

Ed Niebch has put together a Ladies Day at the Range with instructors to help any female that would like to learn about their gun.

Metallic Silhouette is a monthly shoot every 4th Saturday intended to have a fun day with knock down steel animal targets. For .22 rifles.
